It honours generations of community leadership, activism, and cultural pride, focusing on the past, present, and future. Join community on Saturday July 11, 2026 to celebrate.

We are a First Nations-owned and led charitable community centre in Mogo, NSW, Australia. We are the vital community hub providing social and wellbeing programs, cultural healing, and skills training. We have programs for Elders, Women, Men and Youth. Boomerang Meeting Place was the Disaster Recovery Hub for the area after the Black Summer Fires of 2020.
PROGRAMS

Men’s Shed Program
Meet up every Thursday from 9am – 4pm. Men are welcome to drop in, have a yarn, learn, make & connect. WDO Sponsor.
Pick up a bargain
Held every Tuesday from 9am-1pm our Jumble Sale raises funds to run our programs and support community. We accept quality donations of clothing, home goods, linens.
Youth K-Yr6
Run the third Tuesday every month, in school terms. 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm. K-Yr6 Welcome. Permission Slip
Boomerang Meeting Place has two spaces available to hire for an hour, a day or more. Corporate, community, workshops, training sessions, family gatherings. Parking onsite. Full Kitchen – Tea/Coffee facilities. Toilets (including accessible). Air conditioned with tables and chairs available at no extra cost. We do not have wifi. No alcohol is allowed on the premises.
The Boomerang Meeting Place 12 Seater Bus is available for hire by community groups. Reach out to us today to check availability.

Boomerang Meeting Place is located just off the Princes Highway in Mogo. Accessible with parking available.
